How leverage on a memecoin works
LEVA's leverage is planned, not live yet: it opens first to the whitelist, once its lending fund is raised, and not in every country.
A stake and a loan, in one buy
With leverage, your stake is topped up by a loan from LEVA Lend, LEVA's own fund, and both buy the token in one transaction. At 3x, a 0.1 SOL stake buys 0.3 SOL of the token: a 10% move up is about 30% on your stake, and a 10% move down is about 30% off it, before costs. Gains and losses are both multiplied.
Why the multiple is highest at a launch's first second
A pump.fun launch trades on a bonding curve, and while it is on its curve its price cannot fall below the launch price. LEVA Lend uses that floor: it lends at most 95% of what your tokens would fetch at the launch price. Right after a launch the price is close to that floor, so the loan can be large: up to 9.9x on small buys. As the price climbs, the floor is further away and the multiple shrinks; a large buy moves the price itself and gets a lower multiple. The multiple each token allows right now is shown on its card and in its buy panel.
Liquidation
LEVA's robot sells a position when its debt reaches 98% of what a sale would fetch (a liquidation fee of 1% applies). On a curve priced in SOL the launch floor limits how far a price drop can take the debt; the buy panel shows the worst case on the curve before you buy. Interest adds up while you hold, and a token that completes its curve leaves the floor behind: the position is then settled.
Costs
| Open fee | 1.25% of the position |
| Close fee | 1% of the sale |
| Interest | 169% a year on the loan (about 0.46% a day) |
| Smallest stake · largest loan | 0.01 SOL · 50 SOL |
Every cost is shown in the buy panel before you buy, with the round trip and the price move that breaks even.
What LEVA does not lend on
- Launches in pump.fun's Mayhem mode, which an agent trades down.
- Tokens that already left their curve (the floor is gone).
- Tokenized stocks and ETFs, and curves priced in them.
- Launch curves whose terms let their owner take the SOL at migration.
Risks
Memecoins are extremely volatile. With leverage you can lose your whole stake, and costs make a flat price a loss. Nothing on LEVA is investment advice; trade only what you can afford to lose.
